Wagner moved from Brazil to Canada two years ago last September.2009. At first, it seemed strange to me that this successful Math Professor who had his Master’s in Accounting would want to trade in his secure teaching position and sandy beaches to come up here to the ”unknown” and wear a parka and toque! When it gets really chilly and his teeth are chattering, I am sure he wonders, too! But, he has certainly proved that Canada is the land of opportunities if you are willing to work hard and focus your efforts.

In less than a year, he went from stuffing donut holes at Tim Horton’s to becoming a Mortgage Broker. No small feat for a born and breed English speaking person who’s only focusing is on the course with no other distractions or commitments. With English as his second language, working more than full time in a new, interesting and challenging position as a Real Estate assistant, waking up at 4am to study, and raising a family – Wagner accomplished his goal of becoming a Mortgage Broker in less than a year.
Impressive? YES! Would you want someone like this on your team? YES! He knows how to get the job done and he knows how to do it well. Wagner is an amazing asset. He does this all with a calm manner and an excellent sense of humour.
